The search criteria needs to be improved
- Not possible to search for e.g P/N in IPC
- Keyword search in Fleet Highlites
Similar search criteria for EM/IPC as available on the e.g GE90 DVD

On October 29, 2020, the Tech Pubs Portals team delivered enhancements to myGEAviation and myGEHonda that allow customers to search Tech Manuals within the Documents widget, significantly improving their experience navigating these technical files. This item was discussed during the recent Customer Portals Webinars. The team is now working to add additional document types (e.g. Fleet Highlites, AOWs) and filtering options.

Ever since the EMM went to web based only, all search functionality has gone away, you can no longer do a generic search by either PN or manual reference. Would be much appreciated to get these functionalities back.

My customers have complained about the limited search capability within the engine manuals and I agree with other comments on this subject. Customers and myself would like to see similar search capability as you have on the DVD version.

I am repeatedly making decision errors because I am not getting an IPC hit on a PN when in fact it is in the IPC.

CWC had it right. Now it's long winded or just doesn't work within the EM/IPC.

Agree. We need to be able to search the entire IPC or entire EM and receive a listing of all hits by manual section/ATA.

In addition to the above search request, can we improve search functionality within manuals. For Example, I would like to be able to open the ESM and search the entire manual for a specific string, ex "Task 72-00-00-810-340". Currently you can only search within a specific page within a manual.

The search capability within a set of documents should exist the same way the CWC had it. That was fantastic. Now we have to go out to the main search and then back into tech document. So inefficient!
